Farmington, Mo | Hey Wes…most my error occurs on how I fill it. The tip of the machine can affect how the sight glass reads on my 4630 +\- 10-15 gallons on a 600 gallon tank. I know it’s simple to ask, and I assume you’ve already considered this but it was the first thing that came to mind when I read your question.
As far as a calibration procedure, I don’t think there is. There is a calibration number that’s specific to that particular flow meter…IIRC…could be wrong too. My guess is the meter has some wear and the margin or error is increasing slowly over time. | |
