NW MN | You will get that message when the display is on a higher firmware level than the SCM. Firmware 9.5 came out last week, I would update to that and see what happens. Maybe he downloaded 9.5 off AgFiniti mid week and installed it, and that is what caused the SCM to need to update as well.
If you chose “SteerCommand” for the guidance type, a gray satellite would be expected as it would be the wrong system. “SteerCommand Z2/SteadySteer” would be the one to pick. In my opinion Ag Leader should have used a more different name from the older system. I get 4-5 calls every year on why the satellite is gray and picking the wrong steering type is the issue.
