And if you air ‘em up enough so the sidewalls don’t flex, you might as well buy some cheap bias tires.

I put a set of 800-32’s on a 1660. Had rep come out and weigh the machine, book said 20 psi, he recommended 22, which was 2 psi less than owner’s manual called for. They both blew out the side walls less than 2 seasons later, in the same field, one day apart. Michelin declined any warranty help, said I ran them under inflated even after I showed them the form the rep made the recommendation on.
