Anytime that 1/4 of the soil that should be air/pore space is full of water, more harm than good is being done. Now in Mar that’s not a huge deal but saturated soil above field capacity is never beneficial with regards to crops. Groundwater, ponds, recreational use maybe a different story, but give me never fully saturated soil in a heartbeat.
