This place has more problems with Michelin tires than I've seen on stuff we've sold in the 20 years since AGCO made them their preferred tire manufacturer.

Not sure why the difference. I have only ever seen 1 split sidewall in person, and have sold literally thousands of Michelin tires on equipment.

Not arguing it doesn't happen, since there's obviously lots of evidence, more wondering why I haven't seen it in 20 years

EDIT: I'll also agree, for the Money, a BKT or Mitas are hard to beat.


In my experience, you will never wear out a Michelin tire, the sidewall will fail first. Doesn’t matter if it’s on a combine or tractor. With that said, we farm in beds and the tires have to flex quite a bit to fit the contour.
