I can't help but believe that tire mfgs have different quality levels. Michelin tires on one of our new cars were junk. Unbelted. Aftermarket Michelin were fine. 3 of our Rams came with Stones. All separated center of tread. The set Dad put on his truck by same model are running fine???? He had put those on about three weeks before we became suspicious of common belt failures.
