It always amazes me different people's experiences, we've had more Michelin fail than good year, and I will say good year stands behind their stuff about 10000% better than Michelin in our experience
You are right, it does vary. 20 years ago you couldn't hardly find someone to sell Michelins in my area. We had a combine with goodyear duals. Sidewalls starting failing in second year of harvest. Goodyear rep offered 50% off a set of new tires which I though was a joke for something with a few hundred hours. So we went Firestone which had been our preferred brand. Honestly I think your local tire dealer has more impact on price and service than we think. |
