Central SD | The movie doesn’t do the Hugh Glass story justice but I realize it’s just a movie. The books I have read about the episode are much better at explaining what happened. It was a plains grizzly that tore him apart. Jim Bridger was the man that left him for dead as he was certain there was no hope for him but what begrudged Glass was the fact they left him no weapons to hunt with thus a violation of the code amongst mountain men. | |
