Mazon, IL | Shimmy1 is correct. A Health Savings Account (HSA) is money you put into an account pretax to pay out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance. There are no limits as to how much you can pull out in a year that I’m aware of.
I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in October 2013 and paid my max out of pocket limit from insurance of 4k in both 2013 and 2014. My insurance picked up the remaining bills of close to 500k. | |
