Subject: RE: Geese eating soybeans

A goose will pretty much always return to where it was hatched to breed and nest. Populations like around a pond will continue to grow rapidly. The first step is to prevent them from nesting and hatching. We had a neighbor lady that thought the little goslings were cute and protected them. After a few years she didn't have any grass on her yard, just bare dirt covered in goose crap. She started busting eggs. Now the geese are gone.
