Thanks all. You're right--I long for the relief the end will bring! We've been fortunate though, had a good contractor and good subs--both from him and me. Took the folks' old house to the studs last September and will maybe be 25% done with drywall by tomorrow.
I'll have to check on the reinforcement for the corners--good point.
