Subject: Re: who makes the best machine shed?

SW Minnesota, Lyon County
I'm sure this will start a war, but I think Morton is about the best out there. Don't know if Lester has changed their design, but the doors on the older ones were pretty cheap and flimsy. From what I've seen of Cleary, they look pretty decent also. Check the warranty on all of them. As far as clearance, a friend of mine just put up a shed with 20' sidewalls so he would be sure that he had enough clearance for whatever. That might be a little extreme, but who knows where we will be at in 20 years. We have had a Morton since 1976 and have not had any issues with snow. We are seeing leaks from around the washers on the nails now and the roof tin on the south side is getting pretty faded, but it is over 30 years old. I haven't had any experience with Wick buildings.
