Parker, SD | We have a van trailer with a 2500 in the front and a 1500 behind it. Followed by the mix cones. pumps. Beside that we push the pallet of jugs/bags or surfactant if were using one since that lasts all season to the front followed by a round up tote, usually lasts all season. Next is whatever tote/pallet of jugs were using for pre/post app. easily changed out.
I like a minimum of 2 mix cones, atleast a 20 gal, maybe larger, and maybe a 60 gal (what we run), rarely use the 60 gal to its max, but if you're running any dry that you slurry it really helps.
get the style that hove a molded bottom, not a fitting bottom, they clean out 100% every time. Mix cone size can be adjust based on the size of sprayer your loading. over 800gal solution tank Id use what I said.
If you drop the trailer at all tanks on the rear are a good idea, we dedicate a truck to ours for the summer, we tipped it forward once with half tank of water in it, so we dont unhook anymore with water filled.. 2600 gal is on 21k weight so should be more that safe, as I would expect a decent amount of weight transfer to the tractor , assuming its a tandem? | |
