Not a case feeling better but it is the way science works.
i have not had time to check the links posted previous that counter others claims but science works on consensus so there are always different results from different studies or experiments and then others try to replicate the study or experiment and eventually there becomes a consensus on which direction those many predictions are showing.
there would be no progress if there were never different results or hypotheses to check out.

There was a story about a researcher who did not accept the changing/warming climate projections a number of years ago and a group involved in the oil industry hired him to put together a study about how climate was not being impacted by CO2 emissions.
After he worked on that as a good scientist his report showed that CO2 was impacting the climate and emission from fossil fuels were one of the reasons for CO2 emissions and he had to change his opinion about climate change.
