Having had my turn in the barrel more times than I care to remember, I understand and sympathize with those who are staring down a PP decision, and are probably also under the gun to figure out how to replant junk that's already out there, or spray stuff that should have been sprayed two weeks ago, etc. etc.   And I believe the corn market in particular is doing a horrible job at getting the acres it might need, like 555 has been saying.

But don't get caught in tunnel vision.  40 miles away from you might be so different that it might as well be another planet.
