Is it important that the permanent base is in the same spot? We have two 6000s now and use one for a base for tiling. In the spring I just set it up in front of the shop on Quick Survey. I am planning on getting a 3000 with another 900 radio. will that help accuracy if the globe has a permeant pole to mount on with a long antenna. For field work now I don't even know if I need more accuracy.
