Yeah, pensions are hard to beat. Just about need a gubberment job anymore to qualify for one, not many private companies offer them since the advent of the defined contribution plan. Guess I got lucky and was married to a gal that has both, a pension plus she contributed religiously for 33 years to the Thrift savings plan, earning an employer match all the while. Best of both worlds.
