SA, Australia | You can upgrade the reciever, all you need is to go to your dealer and ask for an upgrade code/package to whatever accuracy you desire (mind you to my knowledge to get RTK you need both Omnistar HP/XP upgrade, which comes with a Z+ Antenna as well as the RTK upgrade, which comes with a RTK Radio Antenna).
The good thing about the 500 is that you can pretty much upgrade them to do nearly anything, VRC, Ez-Steer/Autopilot, Ez-Boom (or certain other spray controllers, Hardi 5500 being the only one I can think of off the top of my head) etc.
So you can start with just an Ez-Guide 500 with WAAS (base kit) and go from there. | |
