Illinois | I bought this 1999 IH 4900 at a local retirement sale and didn’t realize how bad the rust jacking was on the double frame. Is there any “repair” to this to get a few more good years out of it? Maybe somehow getting rid of the loose rust and using POR15 or a similar product? The double frame starts at about the front axle and runs the whole length. For whatever reason, the first 3 feet or so doesn’t show any rust.
