North Central Texas | These have been some of the weirdest storms I have ever seen. After it hit Nick it was moving northeast into Oklahoma. Then it decided to head south and put a cluster of storms into one tight storm as it moved across a major lake. My dad had some of the worst rain and it was only 1/2 inch with a second twister that came within 100ft of his house with no hail. The lake is 25,000 acres and usually stops the bad storms in its tracks. This is the first twister I have ever seen come straight east and make it across that lake. Tornadoes here usually always track to the northeast. This one tracked every direction it wanted to. | |
