NW Iowa | I can’t vision a several thousand acre field anywhere in Oklahoma but I have been known to be wrong. I was in sw Oklahoma on the harvest for several years and I know there aren’t fields anywhere near that size there. Went through Oklahoma City twice it just doesn’t look like that kind of land. We cut wheat on the Diamond Ring one summer. The field we were in was the size of a whole county. We had 12 2388’s, the owner had 10 9510 Deeres and there was another crew out on the west side I never saw. The land was rolling so we couldn’t see clearly for more than a couple miles to get a perspective on the actual size. I think it was 16,000 acres but I might be off one or two thousand. | |
