Did you notice the white cabs were built better?
Doors were lots heavier and had the nice handles in middle where reds had the cheap latch right at the front of door..
Red cab you did have side windows that would open.
White cabs built in 73 and reds in 74????
I would agree, the white cab one had a more solid feel when shutting the door, and the better door latch handle. And don’t forget they took the door corner window out of the red ones! The white cab had no radio mounted over head like the red cab…..it had an outside fender mount style in the back corner! Yes, the white cab was ended in ‘73 and the went to red for ‘74. |
IH 1066 bought new in ‘74 …. located and bought again 50 years later
