Subject: RE: Poultry litter spread pattern

Latimer, Iowa (north central)
Has two horizontal beaters going down to the litter pans. I have used it for cattle manure too and worked fine. Spreads to 50 foot on dry litter. It has a raven controller that will with run through the VT on tractor or through a raven 440?

Both the Tebbe and Artsway, you can hardly even see where you have spread at 3 ton per acre.

Artsway is a good solid spreader and looks well made. For high volume the Tebbe is the way to go. Tebbe is better, Tebbe is more expensive. The Tebbe dealer distributor is great to deal with and knowledgeable, Artsway I have only interacted directly with company and they have been good as well. They are really working at getting a good product out there.

Artsway is smaller and can be ran with less tractor and loaded with anything. Hard to beat the volume and quality of the Tebbe on big jobs.
