I too have experienced weightloss plateaus while on keto. I have found that doing an extended fast, jump starts weightloss again. 24 to 36 hour fast.
Just be careful, long fasts are not something you just do, it takes a little planning.
Yes. It is how the longer fast is broken that is important. Don't gorge. Small amount of protein and if still hungry two hours later eat more.
I have gained about 10 pounds over the last two years. I think mostly muscle but maybe a little fat. I am 6'2" and now bounce between 175-180. Was 165ish. Am happy where at. |
