Subject: RE: Poultry litter spread pattern

Strathcona, mn
There is no way a vertical beater is spreading that wide unless it is very wet and even then I say no way evenly. You have to have litter pans. Bunning makes a canopy that hangs behind the vertical beaters and drops it down onto paddles and that will spread 45’. How big of a spreader are you looking for? I have 2 kuhns with litter pans I’m looking to sell. A ps160 with side boards and litter spinners and a psc181 with both litter spinners and verical beater modules. I’ve tried v box spreaders and our litter can be wet and will bridge in those.
