Ludington/Manistee MI area | Can’t say much the chemical plant I work in sends out text alerts if a lightning strike is within 10 miles to notify us to stop all outside work. It would be interesting to see management’s reaction when we lose power and the plant crashes and everyone is waiting for the all clear. About 4 years ago I was working a Saturday when a storm hit. Reached to push the call button for the freight elevator and everything around me turned blue and a big bang. That was close enough it fried a bunch of instrumentation. |
