Kingston,Mi | Brother used to haul parts, deliver and retrieve equipment for a local tractor sales. One of his trips to the Lansing warehouse with a very light 1970 GMC 1/2 ton (6.15x15 tires) was a Waldron silage blade and frame plus other assorted parts from the warehouse, remember it's not loaded until it's overloaded. This underpowered and and under spected truck was the salesmans primary transport when it wasn't on a parts run or taking a mechanic to a field repair. If it ever complained, no one paid it any attention.
1991 Dodge Dakota that "She Who Must Be Obeyed" had regularly hauled 1 ton of bagged feed supplements on deliveries as did my 1991 Ford Explorer Sport, takes some careful planning and stacking to get 40 bags of supplement in a 2 door sport. So there, 3 different manufactuers and non ever suffered a bent frame from overloads. "It aint loaded until it's overloaded".
