Usually the bushing itself has a hole that aligns with the zerk hole. If bushing spins slightly it shuts off grease flow. Had it happen a bunch of times...need to get a bit that fits down zerk hole and drill out. If it is a metallic type bushing material it can be very hard to drill thru.
