Pittsburg, Kansas | Wife and I, early on in our relationship, were about to go into a roller skating rink (where we originally met, but that is not important), and we watched in horror as about a half mile away a trailer court was completely demolished by a tornado. Could see trailer house debris go up into the sky. Sirens going off.
Nothing we could do about it. Went in and went skating and watched the destruction on the news later that night.
