| The first chainsaw my father own was a Homelite XL-2 with a 12 inch bar, brought it probably in 1974 or 1975. I brought a Homelite XL-12 with a 16 bar in 1979 to cut firewood with. In the early eighties my father brought a Poulan chain saw, don’t remember the the model number but it was bigger than the Homelite XL-2 and I think had a 16 inch bar. The Homelite XL-12 was a heavy chain saw and the lighter Poulan chain saw was nice for trimming up down trees and for fencing. | |
