Subject: Shortening [or lengthening] sun-above-horizon times

North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

G'day from someone only 30 days off the shortest day!

The older I get the less I like the winter months, even though I can recall meeting the Canadian parents of a [now] local who came on work exchange, met a local, and married. I apologized for a miserable winters day, cold wind and intermittent showers.  The response from the Canadian lady was " Laddie - you do not know what cold is!"   Touche!

As I said we are only 30 days from the shortest day. Sunrise here was 7.25 am this morning, and the sun sets at 5.27 pm , so 10hrs and two minutes 'sun visible' time.

I'll note how many more minutes less we have as we get closer to the 22nd June.
