Familiar with 2 Homelite saws, the Super XL and the Super EZ. Both of them just ran and ran and ran. Took occasional carb work, but the main saw was rock solid.
Guy who sold/fixed them lamented that Homelite was bought out by another company and quality went downhill and a few years later they quit making them.
