message stream
From reading that posted thread, I believe some posters' streams are incongruent with their equipment. RTCM ver 3 has been around for a number of years, and I would use RTCM3-1001-1013. Multiple Signal Messages (MSM) came with ver3.2 and later, and I don't know if Vector Pro uses this version. Highly unlikely many farm rovers have ver3.2 ability, so these messages should not be used.
Note: "RTCM-3 adds ephemeris information, provides orbit updates, and can be used for faster locking signals. The GPS and GLONASS ephemeris were first expanded in RTCM-3.1, followed by RTCM-3.2 and 3.3 added Galileo, QZSS and BDS ephemeris."
I would try GPS/Glonass if the rover can do both, otheewise just 1004
1004 Extended L1&L2 GPS RTK Observables
1012 Extended L1&L2 GLONASS RTK Observables
Note - The standardized GPS and GLONASS RTCM-3 messages, which cannot be effectively extended to other GNSS systems and other signals, are limited to L1 and L2 frequency bands and to only one signal per band. MSM (Multiple Signal Messages) added in RTCM-3.2 realizes the maximum compatibility with RINEX-3 and is used to replace legacy RTCM-3 messages (such as MT1001-1004, MT1009-1012).
One of these should work, but info must be in your receiver
1005 Stationary RTK Reference Station ARP
1006 Stationary RTK Reference Station
I believe there are useless streams being sent by DIYs, and as noted in that thread, "There is no base station antenna reference point information (RTCM message 1005 / 1006) in your stream ballymagorry85 in the rtk2go.com 3 -caster.
Maybe you have not turned it on or maybe the coordinates are not put right to the F9P."
I have not been down this NTRIP road, but based upon what I'm aware of now, only a few items are needed for rovers using RTCM ver3. I'm all ears, if otherwise.
