west-byGod-Pa.
A state Road splits our farm in half. When I was 17, a dead very large tree next to the Road fell on the road across our pasture fence. I got on site at the same time as PennDot crew. They had a big McCullough saw with PIRANHA saw chain, which for anyone who has not seen it, is sharpened " in-side-out" . It is dangerously aggressive, as I soon found out. The crew chief asked if I wanted to have a go at it, which I did, never having used a chainsaw that New & efficient. I was stunned at how fast it cut. Scary.
Piranha is no longer made, as it was soon deemed too dangerous. I have no idea when it was taken off the market.
My personal favorite will always be Jonsereds, which are no more. Curses upon Electrolux for taking them off the market.
