Subject: RE: Weather last night, anybody have severe

East Central Nebraska
We got hammered. Heavy rain and lots of small hail. My gauge was running over this morning. Neighbor was dumping his gauge a few times throughout the night. He had 9 inches. I am stuck at work today. So won't tell till I get home. Wife sent me a picture of water pouring thru the basins/terraces. They blew out. Heard the bridge on Hwy 92 west of Wahoo, Ne is washed out. I'm about 18 miles northwest of Wahoo. Brother-in-law thinks we had some calves wash away. We only have 15 cows all with calves and he is only seeing 10 calves. Of course they got to be standing by the creek instead of going on higher ground. Suppose they are looking for their calves. Neighbor thinks we will have to replant anything that wasn't up and rooted down. No till and terraces didn't hold this one.
