Central Texas | We went through the same thing back in January. Sam was 14 or 15. We got him from a shelter just down the road from us. He loved riding on the Ranger wherever I went. His rear legs just seemed to give out on him. We noticed it on a Thursday and took him to the vet Friday. They kept him over the weekend but it didn't get any better. On Monday we went to the vet's office and said goodbye. It was one of the worst days we've had. You know you're doing the right thing but damn it hurts. Hang in there and remember all the good times. God bless.
