I figure the monthly rent should be 1% of the value of the house. $100000 house the rent should be $1000 a month. $50000 house, rent should be $500. This should give you a decent return, and cover taxes, insurance, and repairs. Maybe a nicer, more expensive house you could only charge so much for rent, but you might have less repairs.
How do you figure rent on a rental house?
