In the town here in Iowa where dad used to live when he moved off the farm there is an evergreen looking tree that turns brown every winter. Dad knew the name of the tree but I have forgotten what it is. The bark looked more like a pine.
A Tamarack tree looks exactly like a pine tree, here, they drop all their needles ever fall, then green up in the spring.
Not a whole lot of them around though. |
Has anyone seen an evergreen oak.
