I'm a little surprised I didn't see more responses in the 1.75 range on corn. Also, when measuring depth, is it to the bottom or top of the kernel?
Is kernel on end or is it laying flat??.
All seriousness my corns 2.5 in deep and my beans are no deeper than a 1"-1 1/4" if I go deeper they have a hard time emerging in some of our heavier soils
