I can believe it. Was told by a dealer yesterday they have a customer pulling a high speed 24 row planter and approaching 100 acres per hour.
Personally, I’ll push 6 or so without a high speed planter and it does well but in notill, it’s as fast as I would want to go. Found a few smooth areas and went to 8. That’s moving! Hit any little ditch or badger mound and it’s got to be tough on the planter.
Define approaching? Simple math tells you that would take 15mph.........seems a bit far fetched |
