It’s been raining a lot here , friend of mine farms in N tx .
2 -24 row high speed Jd planters .
They can cover 500 acres a day with the both of them .
That’s sure a bunch to a fellow like me with our STO deal .
I would hope he’s getting more than that with two 60’ planters.
400 a day with two 12 row 38” high speeds was a below average day. Takes longer to fill them than it does to run them out.
Ran two 1790’s, 2 high speed 12 row 38”s and a twin row 12/38” and we were covering 1000-1200 a day. Didn’t take long. Full time job for 2 guys just to keep them fed and fueled. |
