Thompson ND / Grand Forks ND
The 30 series and the new R series are longer in the front along with the longer re-shaped weight bracket. I believe each front 100lb weight is worth 155 lbs. on the front tires and takes a certain percentage off the back. Deere is really banging into our heads that we don't need the number of front weights we used to. No use to overweight the tractor as it will increase compaction, fuel use, tire wear, etc... if not needed.
