I plant to moisture
But with a minimum depth of 1.5 and maximum of 2-1/4 for corn. If you have do go deeper for moisture use your row cleaners
Beans I’ll plant as shallow as possible, but to moisture. There’s only disadvantages to plant deeper unless there is a herbicide restriction
