Subject: RE: Seed depth at planting

South central Wisconsin
For the first 38 years I planted corn at 2 inches and soybeans at 1 1/2 inches. The last two, 2 1/4 for corn and and 1 3/4 for soybeans. When I changed my depth two years ago it was the first time I have ever changed the depth on a planter that wasn't new. Find what works for you and stay the course. Don't over think it.
