West Chazy, New York		I can walk because I had it done. I was close to being in a wheelchair. I have had three. The second one didn't work very well but the third one redid it along with fusing three vertebrae and steel rods in my lower back. Recovery depends a lot on following the instructions. I walked a couple of miles a day after the first few weeks and did pretty well. I will never be as flexible as before the surgery but I am very grateful for the help I got from it.
