If you have a way to roll it down the majority will die. Beans or corn? Spray some RU and residual after planting. I've used a double rolling basket and also a McFarlane with the disk blades raised so as not to cut the stems. Very minimal amount of wrapping. And wrapping was not a problem for the planter. I had a good mat of straw so I cut my residual way back. Worked good
