Here in Nebraska they went to Omaha. I remember I had a clase mate, maybe 5th grade or so. His Dad feed cattle all his life. Anyway his father thought nothing of taking his son out of school for the day and going to Omaha. They all road in the hired semi truck the 150 miles. Yes, I bet it was educational for my classmate.
