No real simple answer, depends on your hauling trips. Enclosed is nice for winter travel for southern destination or storage garage for over night trips, but they do require a stronger pull vehicle. Open trailers pull way easier. Easier to tie down. Buy a trailer that you can use for other jobs and the side by side. Definitely would go tandem axle.
