NC IA | This has to be one of the strangest planting seasons that I remember, for all over the board progress. Some guys all corn in and no beans, some have all the beans in and little to none corn, some haven’t turned a planter wheel yet, and some are totally done with both corn and soy. Very little progress in the past 2-1/2 weeks, with only a few notill beans snuck in here and there.
Overall total progress of all acres I’d estimate at right around 50% as of tonight, center of NC IA.
