| What they do is put the minimum bid , as it will be more than the taxes owed. They'll have where they will transfer the land and pay for the lawyer to do it included in the payment.
I thought that they made sure that the land is clear of all stuff , but a person said the bidder would have to check it out. So That's out in the ballfield.
We bought a piece of land a couple of years ago that we surrounded , from it being in tax arrears and from the township.
When we found out we got it, we just gave them a certified check.
Best thing to do is ask the township that has it listed and ask them, all what needs to be done and so fort.
I think they all is the same but you never know , as things change all the time.
We never had to go to an auction , as the bid was in an sealed envelope with the parcel it was for written on the outside.
